    Default trailcam question

    anyonelse have problems with false triggering? i seem to get alot of pics of nothing! like out of 75 pics there might be 20 of deer or other animals but 50 of nothing!

    i have a couple every roll, i`m betting the wind moving a branch or something sets it off..

    i always wonder if it cuold be birds or something flyin through to quick or a deer on the run? glad its digital though! i think i would be alot more upset if i was buying film and paying for developing for 50 pics in 2 wks of my food plot!!! lol

    What kind of cam are you using, and what direction do you have it pointed in? Sun rise and set can and will cause false triggering, some cams are worse than others with this causing false triggers. Birds flying by can cause triggers and unless you have a fast trigger it will leave you thinking it is a false trigger. Leaves or tall grass blowing in front of the cam can also cause false triggers.

    i made sure the brush and what not was clear. they are wildview extreme II digitals

    Last week I had 75 pictures all nothing i could see we took out the batterys and let it sit a couple of min. and seems to be working fine now

    buy a stealth cam digital...It is just as good as the Leaf River and The Cuddeback...Cept you dont have to Pay for the Name! I Love it...Amazing Brand Of cameras!

    Birds have set my camera off alot but my cam is fairly fast trigger so I usauly see the bird in the pick. I would definately check your positioning of the cam. Also depending on how sensitive your cam is a squirl could set it off and you might not even see the little guy.
