It's just the camera. A good one wouldn't do that.

Moultrie makes a good camera ... how far are the deer from the camera .. is the sun directly in the shots too .... what model camera do you have.

i have a moultrie and the only time it does that is when the picture is taken at night and the deer is within a few feet, and the flash washes out the pic

Do the moultries have a sensitivity of the flash? I know my cuddeback has a power setting of low, medium or high.

I have mine on high and no problems so it probably wont be that but just a suggestion.

Why don't you post one so we can get a better idea of what you're talking about.

i would post a picture but i dont have the cord to hook up to the computer. It is a moultre 2.1 ghz i think. most of the pictures that dont work are during the early morning. one other question is were do you get the proper cable to hook it up to the computer

Personally I leave my cams in the field. I swap cards and use a reader. Much easier and the cams continue working for you.

Did the cam not come with the cable? Got a couple of them for different cams around here I never use, dont know if they would work for a moultrie or not. Would suggest contacting moultrie if you did not have the cable and are insistant on pulling the cam to get your pics and ask them to send you the proper cable.

Yeah just get a card reader. 10x faster and easier.
