    Default trail camera help

I would like to purchase a couple of trail cameras but dont have the money for the big $ ones. Any help with a best buy. I owne three but they only take pictures of one out of 6 deer that goes by.

Buy the best digital you can afford, you say, your cameras take.pictures of one out of 6 deer that goes by. try placing your camera(s) along a trail and not have the deer walking past, have them coming into your camera or food or food plot, cudeback is probably the best, but they are expensive at least for me. I have a moultrie 200, take excellent pictures, but i don't like the eye you get on flash pictures the eyes look like white circles, other than that, they take good pictures, again, it's get the best you can afford or save for the best, it does not pay to buy one or two and have problems, and eventually be forced to buy the good one. Your doing the right thing, get info, do your research, then get one.

Homebrew cams. Can build your own fairly easily and for a lot less money.

If you dont think you are able, the leaf river cams are the best commercial cams on the market for the money in my opinion.

If your camera(s) are able to take pics then its just a matter of getting to know how to set them up and aim them within the cameras capabilities.
If you feel its slow to trigger then, for example, set it on a tree right next to the trail but aim it up or down the trail so the deer are within the sensor for longer, not just wizzing by a cam set at 90* to the trail.
Or over food plots, apple tree, oaks, etc where deer will stop and feed.
    Things like that.

Also beware aiming east or west as sun light may trigger your cam and your thinking its just not getting the deer walking by.

I had a nice 15 pic series of a sun set one time. LOL
I had it on "the pefect tree" facing a scrape and down the trail. I forget to not face it west. LOL

The only trail cams I had had/have are the original 35mm stealth cam which I did not like opne bit and my Moultrie 2.1 digital I got from Walmart for $100.
    I love the Moultrie.

    Good Luck.
