stupid stupid leaf river cam

I just spend three weeks of deer hunting waiting to catch this 10 pointer that I got on my cam the first night of the season and after passing up on smaller bucks -- I never did get a chance to see him , so that means no deer steak in the freezer for me this year and my 11 year streak has come to an end

I may get a chance next week to hunt a couple of days and then our lobster fishery opens on Nov. 27 so my hunting will be over for this year.

I feel ya NSwhitetail....My season is about over too. I dont count rifle season because there so many people where I hunt that the deer are all dead before they get to my stand. Good Luck if you get out any the rest of the season.

Dont give up yet Lewis. I know what you mean, we have no deer in the freezer yet this year either, and I have passed up several hoping to get a better shot on the big 10 I drew my bow on that we have also gotten a couple pics of.

Hope you see him the next time you get out or at least get an opportunity on something.

that sounds familiar. its been 11 years for me also and i passed up dozens of small bucks(management) never could get the bigger one. still a great year just seeing and taking videos we can watch forever

better luck next year......11 years of slamming one though...you cant be disappointed...the smaller bucks you passed will be dandy's next year and you will be rewarded
