Default Moultrie digital 1.3/ and thoughts on the 3.1

I like my camera but I am just about to give up on it. Takes great pics and all, but I went out to feed tonight after I got in from college and I walk all in front of it for 3-4 minutes trying to get it to go off and it never did. Finally it went off and the battery life said it was 95%. Makes me wounderin what I am missin? I have not got a pic of good buck(2 yrs and older) on it in the past 2 yrs. I had the moultrie film version before and got sveral different good buck a year.
I am thinkin about gettin the 3.1 digital, any comments on that one????

JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! We have the 3.1 version and you can dance a jig in front of it and it will not take a pic. I set this cam up on an active scrape and trail and not one pic and that dang scrape was freshend with the cam in place.

I dont think I would say all that... but maybe
"You get what you pay for!"

I have 3 of them. AND YES the trigger speed is slow.
SO this is what I do. Put something in front of the camera to make the deer stay longer. AKA Corn or some food. And put a little bit of distance between the subject and the camera. They seem to work better with at least 15 feet between the camera and subject. THey will work, but you have to remember you just paid like 100 or 150 bucks for it. So...
    just my .02 cents

Moultries seem to be hit or miss. Some are good, some horrible.

For the money you would be better off getting a leaf river cam. I would not fool with a moultrie.

[/ QUOTE ]Man, I have got to tell ya I am not to happy with this camera at all! I checked the cam tonight and the scrape it sits on has been freshened again and so have all the buck rubs. Two of us walked in front of it and it still would not trigger. This camera has 70% batt and sits 25 feet off the scrape. ?????????????

Most cams should trigger at 25 feet. Do the moultries have an adjustable motion sensor? If so might try adjusting it.
