The first one is a Mt. Blue Jay.
The second I have no idea.

    Easy
First one is a Steller Jay, and the second one is a Whisky Jack (I guess the proper name is Grey Jay)

Whisky Jacks will eat right out of your hand. I used to bring extra munchies in my lunch for them when I was logging.

Good job buckee! The Whiskey Jack is also known as the Canadian Jay. The Stellar Jay is much more aggressive and a lot noisier. We have had at least a dozen or so of the Stellar Jays in the yard every day.

We've got quite a few Steller Jays hanging around here every day too. The Whisky Jacks live only at high altitudes. I've never seen them down low

Never heard of or seen those birds before. It looks like buckee and elkoholic are in agreement though.

When I first looked at the pic, I was like.. whoa! a blue cardinal! It looks like cross between a blue jay and a cardinal.

See a pretty good variety of birds here. Have not ever seen either of those around here though. Will have to look those up in my book later.
