Looks like a 3.5 year old deer to me. The beams look to be pretty heavy, just not very long.

2 1/2 I would guess with some good feed.

He will be real nice when he gets some lenght on those beams and tines

That is a weird buck. Kind of a bunched up rack. Hard to say age its either 2 1/2 or 3 1/2.

Like Tom2008 said, its hard to tell on a deer like that with the rack being being so heavy yet so small. It could range from around 2 1/2 to 3 i would say, although not a bad but now, it'll be a keeper in atleast 2 years

I'd say it's just a young buck too, but it's got some good webbing going on in those antlers. He's going to be an awesome buck soon.

EXACTLY my thought, at first glance..we have a buck here like that, except he has a moose type of rack..fully palmated

Alright everybody, I need to confess. I had him at 2 yards bow hunting this year. He's no more than 10 inches wide, probably less, 120 pounds and I believe he is a 1 1/2 year old. The pic makes him look alot bigger than he is. He will be an awesome buck providing the neighbors don't shoot him in the next year or too. I got my fingers crossed because,.......I Want him!!!

I think he is 1 1/2 like you said. Though there is great mass on the beams, there is almost nothing to the tines.
Hopefully he makes it because I think he could be awesome in a couple years..

The deer there must be really heavy bodied if that is a 1.5 year old. Never seen a 1.5 year old with a neck that thick or that blocky in the body.
