Trail Cam----Stolen

This afternoon my brother, my fiance, and I decide to go check on our trail cam and see how many pics had been taken. Well we get up on the ridge where we placed it and it's gone. No where to be found. That really ticks me off. I'm glad that it wasn't an expensive camera, but nonetheless. It makes you wonder about people and why they would mess with stuff. Whoever it was tresspassed and wasn't supposed to be on the property, but it is easy to access from the backside. We are the only ones that have permission to be on it, but we aren't there enough and the owner isn't there enough to keep others off it. Just really aggitates me. We were going to hang some stands in there for next years hunting season, but now I'm not sure if I want to do that and take the chance of them being stolen also. Well just had to vent for a moment.

sounds like a low life took it, sorry, regardless of what it is you now have to worry about thieves on your land. Hope you can catch them someday and prosecute them!!

Be careful on those stands, the low life probably took the camera for fear of being caught on film and they probably will be back as low life theives are not too bright and will try to steal again from you!!

I know exactly what you mean. I had a trail cam and a treestand stolen at the same time several years ago. Talk about being ticked off.

Had some tree stands stolen this past season too. But they didn't notice or take the camera. The local DNR and Sheriff's got my camera and made good use of it in court.

i had two stands and a cam. taken last year it really sucks to go sit in your stand and there's nothing there. it screws up the whole season... good luck at catching them.

That really stinks. Sure are a lot of low lifes out there. Really ticks me off. Got my cams locked on my land, have had cams on my neighbors land where noone has permission but us, heard quite a bit of shooting yesterday, sounded like a .22 not far from where I had a camera in my neighbors woods not all that long ago. Walked back there, and the shooting stopped. Never saw anyone though.

People now adays just have NO RESPECT. Makes me sick!

I had my Cuddebak stolen this year as well. Talk one ticked off guy! They didn't take my stands, at least not yet. I hate that some people feel it's ok to steal something that another person has worked hard to pay for. LOW LIFES!!!!!!!

We had to start chaining some of our stands to the tree and padlock them so they don't disappear. Nothing worse than going to the stand to hunt and it's gone. Sorry to hear about your trail cam.
