Pictures from my Sunday walk

I took a little hike through the woods Sunday afternoon and boy did I have fun. I started off towards the swamp and took a look around. I found the deer skull that the sun is bleaching for me. Its almost done, but I didn't take a picture of that. I saw a yellow dragonfly land and I got up close to get a picture. I was suprised it didn't fly away.

I went over to the water and seen a Mallard Mom swimming wither atleast 10 duclings so I took a few snap shots of them.

I headed for the woods next and jumped a pretty big rabbit. It stopped and I put a stalk on it until I was 10 yards away. It was pretty cool to put a stalk on an animal again. The rabbit is behind the fallen down log in the picture.

I walked further into the woods and I hear something to my left and I look to see a buck trotting off. I seen atleast 4 inches of antler on each side and he was big bodied too. I went to where I last seen him and I noticed his tracks. I followed them and some fresh deer droppings from him for atleast 400 yards. It was a lot of fun being able to do that through the thick brush.
