New bushnell cam or leaf river

Anyone heard anything good bad or otherwise on the new bushnell digital trail cams. I had decided on the leaf river, and then ran across this new bushnell cam. The wife told me to get what I want and these two are comparable in features and price.

Cannot decide if I want to go with the bushnell or the leaf river digital. The bushnell has a nightvision feature that allows you to set it up to take pics at night without the use of a flash, which seems to be a strong point. Just not having heard anything about this cam I am now not really sure which one I want to get.

Anyone know anything about the new bushnell trail cams?

I did not even know Bushnell made trail cams.... So I cannot tell you anything about that....

It looks like it would be pretty good. Everyone thought that with the new Digi Stealth Cam also though. I would research it a little before buying it though. I wonder what the battery life is? It seems like everyone likes the Leaf River alot. I would just hate to spend that kind of money on a camera if it sucks. It could just be returned though.

Yeah Jim, I am pretty sure I am going to go with the leaf river. Cabelas has it and I have some points plus a couple rebates to use with them.

Cabelas does not have the bushnell, bass pro does and I have not heard as many good things about bass pros customer service as I have about cabelas.

The night vision thing kind of caught my interest though. Bushnell being a name brand, I would think they would be pretty decent quality. Might hold out a little longer and see if I can find out anymore about the bushnell cam before ordering the leaf river.

My big concern with this cam would be the lack of controls for operation......looks very similar to the Cuddeback cam I once owned....did not care for the conrol panel on it....and was not very user friendly IMHO...as compare to my Leaf which has lots of nice little buttons.....hate seeing so few buttons which mean you have to do a lot of scrolling.......I also like my little LCD picture screen...may be a bit small but still handy....this cam is not bad looking and does come with a decent price...and could perhaps be a nice cam.....but it just reminds me of the Cuddeback a little too much...still decent cam just not quite up to par with my Leaf ..IMO.Hope somebody buys one so we can hear a review on it.
