    Default Valley Forge Buck

Took the boys out to Valley Forge PA yesterday to see some deer. This herd is extremely tame. All I was getting pics of were does and fawns, and saw a few spikes, but right as we were getting ready to leave, I saw this buck step out of the woods. I thought the extra antler growing out of the side of its head was rather interesting. There was another big one behind it but I couldn't get a shot at it..so to speak..

I kinda can't wait to go back over here and get some good snow shots. This herd is tame big time. Almost felt like being at a zoo, and I am not a big fan of deer being this tame. But the boys liked seeing them, and I was happy to catch the shot of that buck. Some of them I could have reached out and grabbed by the neck and drug them into the car with me, though that would not be a smart idea.

Does anyone know if they allow limited hunts on the Valley Forge Historic Site?

That's a pretty interesting rack he has.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

No, they don't, and the place is filthy with deer

I figured. Don't know how they would do that anyway with it being open year round to the public. Those deer are so tame you could walk up and club em then drag em off.
