Finally they come out of the woodwork

Well after quite a few weeks of setups with 4 cameras, I finally caught this guy. I actually watched him for an hour 3 weekends ago with my best friend as he fed on alyce clover in this summer food plot. My buddy hopes to put a hole in this one.

These 2 were making the best out of one of our other summer plots that the weeds starting getting pretty bad in. Believe it or not there's alcye cover in there too. We took care of the weeds this past weekend. I want a better look at the trailing buck come October.

This 8 point was caught at one of our mineral licks.

This is what our summer food plots are supposed to look like when weeds aren't a problem. As you can see there's a lot of deer enjoying the groceries here. In 6 days of running a camera here I had 75 pictures with rack bucks in them. That's excluding the pics with just does, etc. Another close friend of mine is tripping over himself to go set up some stand around here.

Always amazes me how for weeks you get no buck pictures, then bam every pictures has a buck in it.

Nice pics, some good bucks there. Still not getting any buck pics around here Al, hopefully come harvest time when the ag crops start coming out, some will make their way to us.

Those are some great bucks, especially the first two. Summer plots look real good! Are you in the Big Black River bottom?

No this is in the hill country southwest of Port Gibson.

A lot of truth to that. 10 different sets prior to my most recent 5 that produced these pics had nothing but very young bucks, does, turkeys, a few hogs, and even a dang rat.

I'm running my 3 cameras, and 2 others that belong to 2 friends of mine that don't have time to keep up with them. After this next set I'll be down to 4 cameras again. Hopefully I'll have some more plesant surprises when I check them again Saturday.
