    Default Cades Cove (Bears)

My wife and I saw six bears in ours trips to Cades Cove while we were up there.
The first was the biggest and also came the closest. I didn't get any great shots of him since he was on the passenger side and I was driving.

I saw this guy sneakin' around the woodline. He never came out in the open.

I had to hurry to get ahead of him and cut him off before he went down into the creek bottom.

On our last trip through, we saw a momma and cub foraging through some dead wood for bugs. This was the best shot I got.

Nice pics! I've never seen more than two bears on a trip to Cades Cove.
I figure God only gave me so many sunrises, I might as well not miss one.

All the times I've been to Cades, I've never seen a bear.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because you were there.

When we used to go during the summer, we would rarely see them in the cove, but would see them in the mountains near the balds. The last few times we have gone in the fall, we have seen more in the cove.

Nice pics. We were planning to take a trip to Cades cove over the late summer this year, but never made it. Might still make a trip over there this fall.

Must be cool to see all those bears in one trip.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Nice pics! I've seen about a dozen wild bears here in the past 10 years. They're much neater than seeing the zoo variety!
