Buck w/ tumor, 2 fox, hardhorns & 5x3

Here are some selected photos from last week everyone. Enjoy! I'm really liking that 5x3... (who is new to us along with that high racked 8 pointer). And is that a tumor on that forkhorns neck?? Any ideas? matt

Sure looks like a growth of some sort. Great pics. Like the ragged velvet hanging off in the 4th pic the best.

Looks like a tumor, but everyone Ive talked to about them say that it does nothing to the meat. The beauty of it is only skin deep, haha!!! Nice pics!

I don't know if a tick could get that big... I thought at first it was something falling out of his mouth... but then it also looks like a growth. I don't see anything on the ground that would resemble that, that would have fallen out of his mouth. I surely wouldn't pass up that eight point!!!

Its hard to say what is on that bucks neck. I would not think a tick could get that big tho.

Them are some great pics i really like the one with the two greys in it. As far as that fork horn goes i'm not sure definitly a growth of some sort. Good Luck to ya.

Nice pic you have there. The growth on that deer almost looks like a bow stabalizer. He's learnt his lesson, now he's trying to camoflauge to look like a bow so you won't shoot him.LOL

awsome shedding pics there!!I think it is a fibrous tumor very common in deer. remember last year i had a deer that had a large one under his chin it got to be the size of a softball!. Its atrte out like this one. That deer I had pics of from last year hasnt shown up this year. I think he died maybe from gun season or that tumor. The last pic I got he started to get one in his eye too.
