    Default Cudde Expert Problems

I am having a few problems with my expert. I have always had an issue with the batteries staying in place. I would set the camera out for 3 or 4 weeks at a time and come back to find that the camera stays on for two days then the batteries fall down and stays turned off the remainder of the time. Talk about being upset, you think spending $400 on a game cam, the last thing you would have to worry about is the batteries not staying in the right place.

Secondly, the dang thing quit writing to the card. I messed with the thing over and over, tried to reformat the card and still can't get it to work. I tried to take it back to Bass Pro, but since it is 14 months old they would not replace it. I guess I am going to have to send it back and get the so called "top notch" camera fixed after 1 year of use.

I like the camera, when it works, I just believe that it should have been better designed and function better for the price. Just my luck, it happens to go down right at the time I need the thing. 2-4 weeks before season starts.

Just wandering if anyone else has had the same problem with it quit writing to the card?

    Thanks for the time,

    Trent

Dont know Trent. Have not personally used a cudde, but have read plenty of comments by unhappy cudde customers. Not writing to the card could be other problems. I am assuming that card reads and writes fine with other devices and you have tried a different card?

Far as dealing with cudde, good luck. Be prepared to fork out some bucks to get it fixed. Think they were charging something like $50 before shipping to fix issues with cameras that were not watertight, no telling what you are looking at if you have a faulty card writer in the camera.

May dad had the same problem with his but fortunately it was still under warrenty and he was able to take it back for a new one. I hope you can get it resolved. I'd be pissed too if I couldn't replace it! Good luck!
