    Default Rough edit of my 2007 gator hunt

    I have not had time to do a final edit of the hunt,but here is a rough cut to give you a taste of my hunt:

    That is a one big gator. Congrats.

    Pretty cool experience i bet... I dont know if i would have smacked the gator in the head like that guy did, but he must know what he's doing... i hope...

    Well let's just say the name "stumpy" was thrown around alot! Glad it didn't come to fruition!

    question: I have only seen them hunted at night. How did you bait them and did you just sneak up on them around the bait and then shoot them. Explain how this might work.

    We baited them with rotten chicken quarters on a BIG hook, hung 15-20 inches above the water. Once the gator was on the line we were able to pull him up and get some arrows in him.........I put a fish arrow with a float attached in him in case the main line would break,we would be able to track him and pull him up.
