    Default Anyone repair cameras?

I have a Minolta Maxxum 400si that I want to sell but there is something wrong with it. When I turn it on and look through the viewfinder it looks shaded. I have been told it is less than a $100.oo repair, but since I bought a digital, I decided not to bother with getting it fixed. My wife suggested to sell it to someone that knows how to repair them. It has a very nice Quantaray lens on it. When I bought the camera several years ago, I know I paid around $400.00 for it. If anyone has any suggestions, or know someone who would like to buy it, let me know. Thanks

Dont know Ken. I was considering taking my minolta maxxum to wolf or somewhere to see if they could work on it, but think it would cost more to fix it then it is now worth.

Have an older maxxum 7000 and several lenses for it . Back when I bought everything I easily had over a thousand dollars into the lenses and the camera body. It still takes great pics, but about 8 years ago it got knocked out of my hand when I shot a wedding and since then, the in view finder displays dont work. Seeing as how it still does take great pics, think I will probably hang on to it and maybe give to to one of my kids when we eventually do get a nicer digital.

Mine says HELP in the display window. I was told it was less than $100.00 buck to fix. I may just sell the lense on Ebay.
