Picture resizing

THis isn't a new topic but i can't find the old posts. I just got a digital camera and the pics are all huge when i load them onto the comp. I am learning about the editing software that came with it but as far as i can tell all i can do is crop them to get only the stuff i want, i can't resize the pictuer when i am done playing with it. Is there a program i can download to do this?? i have a few picsw i want to post but do not want them to be huge. Thanks

You might want to check back in the photo room for the resizing thread. Think someone had posted a link where you could download a program that would resize your photos.

I use paint and normally take the image down about 55 percent. To do that bring up paint, click on image then stretch skew and put in whatever percentage you want. Make sure and keep the stretch and skew the same.
