    Default Winter Buck

    Here's a small buck didnt stick around for another picture, Real cold up here batteries just are not lasting long enough to leave the camera's out. Brightened it as best i could

    Nice buck.

    How cold is it up there?

    We had a cold string of weeks that got into the high -30's C and -40 C with the wind. Its around -25 now at night and its just to much for them camera's and me lol

    We aren't that cold yet, but still cold enough that we were really running through the batteries. Have you looked into the 12V rechargable battery you can use with the cam? We bought a few and they last sooooooo much longer than the C batteries were lasting. And for only $40, it pays for itself quickly....

    I'm not sure that with weather that cold it will help too much, but we have been in the 20's during the day and below zero at night and the battery was still going strong after two weeks.

    Cool pic. We get very few snow pics on the trail cams, always enjoy seeing them.
