    Default Fawns & WOW! lol

    Hello all,
    First, I would like to apologize for the poor pic quality, I think it's time for an upgrade to a better camera. I think there is something wrong w/mine.. it's getting worse every day!?

    Anyway, I make the rounds this evening not expecting to see much, I go the usual rout & spot a couple of fawns munching on some soy beans, I'm thinking, where's your momma at.. I look around & I spot "DADDY" watching the twins. I about pooed myself! These pics don't do this awesome animal any justice, this is probably one of the biggest bucks I've seen on the hoof. I'm willing to bet he's around 300lbs.. from what I could see w/the binoculars he's looks to be a LARGE 10 point.

    Awesome fawn pics...and an awesome buck, for sure!

    Hope you catch up to him. It is most unfortunate that he fled with tail waving. Big deer like that have good memories. I'd stay away from that until it was time to hunt him. Don't convince him to become nocturnal or worse yet to leave the area.
