    Default fun to shoot-hummingbird shots

These little guys can be kind of tough to get in a frame and get focused even though they are at a feeder, kind of fun trying. Managed to get some frames with more than one bird in the shot.

Too bad I did not get this shot closer to center.

    Cool pics, William.

I was just over at a friend's house and his neighbor had almost 50 in their front yard. It was ridiculous.

I imagine they would be difficult to photograph.

Try switching to manual focus. Put the camera on a tripod. Pre focus on a spot where they will pass through to get to the feeder and snap a shot as they enter the frame.

Thanks for the tip Bill, will try that for sure. Had been trying to pre focus on the feeder, camera just does not focus quite quick enough.
