These little guys can be kind of tough to get in a frame and get focused even though they are at a feeder, kind of fun trying.Managed to get some frames with more than one bird in the shot.
Too bad I did not get this shot closer to center.

I was just over at a friend's house and his neighbor had almost 50 in their front yard. It was ridiculous.
I imagine they would be difficult to photograph.

Try switching to manual focus. Put the camera on a tripod. Pre focus on a spot where they will pass through to get to the feeder and snap a shot as they enter the frame.
