About LinkBacksSorry I haven't been around here in the past two weeks - been busy at work and around home. I was able to get out fishing on the lake a couple times - too bad the Eagles and Osprey caught more than me.
On the way back to my house I seen a woodcock in the road - I get up a little closer and here there was three of them picking worms in the ditch - I took a couple shots of them, but they were too close I couldn't get all of them in the same frame.
Had a cookout out at my parents and had a pair of purple finch's building a nest in a spruce.
And a Bluebird on the other side of the field.
Hopefully things calm down here and I can get out a little more.
I'm still waiting to see my first fawn - I hope to get some good pics of them this year.

Great shots as usual. Love the detail on the talons on that Osprey, awesome.
BTW--pretty sure your purple finch is actually a house finch.Don't cry because it's over, smile because you were there.
