I am debating on entering this photo of my daughter and I on Ormond Beach for a "People in the Outdoors Photo Contest". What do you all think of this photo? I am not sure how good it would do!

Oh my. I think it's a great shot.

One question--does the photo have to be taken by the person entering it, because unless you put that camera on a timer, someone else took that pic.

Great shot though. Lots of elements working there.

No just an outdoor shot. My wife took the photo of us walking. If anyone of you have not went there it is a very nice beach! We stayed at the Royal Floridian Resort and the beach was right out the back door. It was the best vacation I have ever been on except in my treestand for sure! LOL

I would definitely enter the picture. But something I might try just as an experiment (on a copy) would be to take one of your photo editors and try darkening it just enough to create the two of you in silhouette. If you can do that without destroying the sky, I think that might create a wonderful effect. Might be worth a try.

Great picyure... submit the photo. My parents live in Ormond beach.... we visit twice a year. Love the beach..peaceful

I loved it! The spot where we stayed was the Royal Floridian but they are knocking it down to build a new one. It is right on the beach! Best vacation I have ever been on! Two spots that we ate that had great food was Caribian Jacks and Bubba Gumps!
