You know, as many times as I've been to the smokies, I never went to Cade's Cove. I've been wanting to plan a trip there, just haven't followed up on it.

That's awesome!That precise area is where my mom and her family is from. She/we has/have family in the Franklin/Waynesville/Robbinsville, NC and Copperhill, TN/McKaysville, GA areas.
My great-great-grandfather, "Doc" Jones and his cousin "Little" John Cable were legendary houndsmen and bear hunters in the area in the late 1800s/early 1900s.
