Calling all disabled veterans, fire and police me

I would like to invite each member of this forum that fit the requirments to ck out Disabled American Sportsmen. DAS is a 501(c)3 organization formed to help disabled veterans and disabled family members within 2 degrees of seperation get back outdoors to hunt and fish. At this time we have a active committie in TX and one formed in NY. The NY committie is also accepting disabled firefighters and police officers in a pilot program allowed under the bylaws for areas victem of terrorist attack.
DAS is looking to expand throughout the united States in time as membership grows. If interested I would like to invite you to visite out website,participate and ask questions.

At this time the board is slow but as membership and partcipation grow it will pickup.

Are you open to veterans who get disabled, or just veterans disabled during thier tour of duty?

Sorry, you have to be a military veteran to qulify, you do not have to be disabled. Members that are noty disabled are needed also. If you are disabled it does not have to be caused during you tour.

We at this time are in the process of ammending membership policies to allow for public servants. IE:fire ,police and ems.
