    Default Disabled hunts

I am looking for anyone who knows of outfitters who help disabled hunters. My fatehr in law is in wheelchair and LOVES to hunt. He is able to transfer, and can walk short distances (less than 30 yds). He has pistol that he can hunt with. Anyone know where he can go on a hunt?

...I can get you the info on the PVA(Paralyzed Veterans of America )moose hunts up here in Alaska....(Salcha, out of Fairbanks...)-but you don't have to be a Veteran to participate and hunt...also, there is a guy who has a website on camospace who coordinates a lot of those type of hunts...he is holding a ML bear hunt up here, soon...his name is akdoug...just go on camospace, and bring up his profile...
-he seems like a genuine guy...

....non-res. moose and black bear hunts do not require to be guided up here ...and the over-the-counter tags are $400 and $225, respectively...

-The fishing is great, too!...we know of some very handicap-accessible and friendly charter boats, here in Seward...

-pm me, if you would like, I'll try to help however I can, or to provide additional info...(for Alaska, that is...)

This is held where I live and there are some nice bucks there. The areas they hunt are not allowed to be hunted by others until after this special hunt.

Wish me luck, had a nitch for awhile to do hunts just for challenged hunters (deer, turkey). Have spent the past couple days doing exploritory work=land, housing, equipment, etc. I just hope I can get it off the ground.

PCBA is indeed a great organization of which I am a part of. They do an annual archery goat hunt in Wyoming each year in early September and have great success. I've seen it first hand, my elk hunt coincided with it so I was able to go to one of their evening meals and see the quality of goats they were shooting.

i can give you the e-mail adress for a hunt in mississippi ...at arkabutla lake...it cost nothing but your transportation....of course the deadline is already past but if all the hunting slots are not filled (which they may not be this year as to the high gas cost) i can get you in... it's a three day hunt, your allowed a doe per day and one buck 4 point or better...it's a great hunt and loads of fun even if no deer are taken...we hunt 40 people per three day hunt and have to hunts in a week... it's totally funded but donations and you are supplied with what ever you need to hunt... 3 great meals per day and they do have a sleeping lodge and bunk house for those who need it ...just e-mail me and i'll get you the info...
