There are terrorist in Iraq

We are always hearing about terrorist from other countries going into Iraq to fight against the Americans.

Is this a bad thing?

As long as we are killing them there, they aren't comming here to fight. I say let 'em keep going to Iraq. If we're going to have to fight lets do it somewhere else where they're bombing someone elses stuff.

I heard that too and today they were talking about all the millions, that Sadam hid out of the country, financing them.

My first thought was ...YEAH, get em all together as a group ...sounds good to me.

I don't think that's what he meant to say, probably just worded it wrong or wasn't thinking too clearly. You know I sorta get jumpy on that stuff.

The point is, if we have to fight them, I would rather it be 8000 miles away, and I don't have to carry my shotgun to go to Wal-mart to buy my groceries.
The point is my daughter has running water, electricity and doesn't know what a severed head, arm or disenbowelled body looks like and I'd like to keep it that way. If the terrorist want to fight it out with us, I say let them screw up their own peoples live and leave mine alone.

I mean I see your point on the "Keeping it over there" stuff your saying. Who in America in their right mind would want it any other way but that anyhow. But your saying to keep them going to Iraq and bombing other peoples stuff...But the problem is, the stuff they are bombing over there are US Troops and they are pouring into Iraq to get US Troops. You sorta sound like you could care less about that. I don't know, maybe your thinking that US Troops are expendable or something? You tell me! So I guess to answer your question...No, we are not crystal clear yet! But I am waiting!

My point has nothing to do with the us troop safety. This is my point. We have chosen to be at war with terroism rather than keeping our heads in the sand like Kerry seems to want to do. In war people die: soldiers die and innocent people die. This is alwasys trajic. I have friends and former students in Iraq right now. I regularly pray for their safty, and am offended that someone would assume that I would not care for these peoples lives.
The "stuff" I'm talking about is the basic intrastructure of the country.
As long as they (terrorist) are focused on Iraq and security is up here, then would it not seem logical that we are safer here? It doesn't make any sence to me why a religious group would kill innocent people, especially their own people, to make a point. But they do it every day.

Personally I would rather the horrors of war (if there must be a war) be somewhere else. Is that so bad?

I am just trying to say, how he worded his original post and that's exactly what it sounded like to me. Some people may take that the wrong way. I bet if he had a child over there he wouldn't be saying that.
I don't know about you Johnf, but the American Military wants them to stay out not go in.

I agree with him for the most part, but the more they(the terrorists) pour into Iraq, the greater threat they are to us over there and the more they bomb over there, the more threat they are to us over there.
