Bin Ladin video

I'm sure to some tree hugging liberals who want to find the good in all mankind, the Bin Ladin video was very reashuring. He says that our security lies in our own hands, not the hand of Bush, Kerry or al'quada.

But for those of us who look for the truth behind the BS the tape was nother better than extortion and more like a threat to the American people. Does he truley think that someting like that is going to make us back down.

My first reaction is find out whre he his within, say 1000 miles, and melt the whole place down to glass.

Here's where I felt the entire basis for the attack lies.


The US supports Isreal as a nation to defend itself.

My reply to Bin Laden is: If I had it to do, I already would have vaporized any area that I suspected him to be hiding in. That also applies to the terrorists killing our soldiers in Iraq. I say turn them loose to do the job they were trained and equipped to accomplish and they will sue for peace. If they wish to meet Allah so be it.

CH- I suggest reading your Bible on this one. Not sure where it is, but the nation that stands up for Israel is said to be blessed....It is not coincedence(sp??) we are the most envied and blessed country in the world. If we lose ties with Israel, we are gonners.

Also, if Israel had their way, they would nuke all of their enemies.....global war. Of course, all is Biblical.

On another note, and I don't want to start something here, but, if you know anything about the Jewish religion, well, they don't believe in Jesus Christ, so why, with their unbelief, are Christians so bent out of shape and adamant about helping the Jewish people return to their homeland. I realize that the bible says that the Jews will return to their homeland in the last days, it just seems ironic to me that Christian organizations would help them with this since Jews don't believe in Jesus. My cousin just moved there, he is a Jewish convert and studied over there at Hebrew University for many years. That is where he wants to be and is happier there, I may not understand it, but I support his decision.

please dont preach to me......let someone else protect them and be blessed, the only way they got nukes to use in the firts place was from us

Whoa!!! Ok, first of all, we have it better than any...ANY other country in the WORLD, yet you still complain about our "horrible economy" and I could go on and on about your complaints, but then you say "let some other country be blessed"!?!?!? Evidently you have no IDEA what you are saying!!! Either that or you are a typical democrat. Wow....you guys really surprize me. You would think after seeing it every day I would get use to the "surprizes" but all I can say is WOW!!

Slug- Again, the Bible talks about the Jews (God's chosen people) getting away from him, which they are right now. I am telling you, our situations are NO COINCIDENCE (I really need to check the spelling on that word. )

what im saying is i dont believe that the reason we are blessed as a nation has a single thing to do with our support of isreal, We where a blessed nation long before we knew or gave a rats #$/ about that sand box. We are blessed because we as americans gave some blood sweat and elbow grease, as did our forefathers, we are america because we choose to be and will continue to be a great country.

Thats not what I was getting at and I think you know it. The Jews have never believed that Jesus was the Messiah, Son of God, Chosen One, Savior or whatever. What I am trying to figure out is why whenever I happen to stop on TBN or some other religious program, why are these Christian organizations working so hard to return Jews to their homeland when the Jews don't believe in Christ. It's ironic and makes no sense, unless the Christian organizations believe that by doing this they can somehow speed up the rapture or something.

The Jews are still God's chosen people, whether you want to believe it or not. He has punished them severely for their past. Who ever blesses Israel (the Jews) will also be blessed. The is scriptural and Gods truth. Whether anyone wants to believe it or not is totally up to them, but like the good book says, any nation who blesses Israel, God will bless them and any nation that curses Israel, will be acursed. Just take a good long look around the world at every single nation that has ever fought against Israel, and tell me God's word is lying on this issue. Show me one prosperous nation who hates Israel.

Jesus said that since he was crucified and rose from the dead until just before he returns is the time of the Gentiles, where the gentiles have a chance to be saved by the grace of God, through Jesus Christ. Then Israel will be redeemed and the Jews will realize right near the end (return of our Lord and Saviour) that Jesus was and is, indeed their Messiah, who they rejected.
God has "NOT" forsaken his chosen people, he is bringing them closer to him.

That is not my opinion (because my opinion on such an issue means nothing), but I believe Gods word and believe it to be the truth.
If you don't, that is your problem and also your choice.
America is blessed and it is blessed by God. I really do wonder how long he will continue to bless a nation that now wants to deny him, that would rather give themselves the glory of their prosperity instead of thanking God. I really do wonder how long we have when I hear the opinions and anger expressed every time his name is mentioned, not just in this forum, but throughout the land.

Don't act so surprised and get "your" shorts in a knot, when someone responds to statements like you made about Israel, from a faith based point of view. You may very well believe the statements you have made to have some value, but when you make them, you are going to be challenged.

A faith based response to what you have said about Israel is, for all intents and purposes, is appropriate

Aaron, Buckee's point is based on Biblicle truth, that is, something that is put down in the Bible in black and white and not up to interpritation. If you don't believe the bible is true, then you can believe what you want. For those of us who do believe it, Buckee is right.
Can you name 1 nation in the world who doesn't support Iseal who's people are as blessed as ours? I honestly can't think of one.

BTW I think (hope) this nation will see revival soon.

That would be awesome!! I really feel like something is going to bring us to our knees before this happens though I thought the 9/11 attacks would do it, but it seem too. I truely hope not, but you just don't know.
