What part of this was not murder? Were they even off the road when he started shooting into the car?I didnt see where the Game warden told him to shoot the poachers, he said to get the license number.I dont know enough about this case, from the articals, to know if there were other circumstances but if there werent this is terrible, he shoulda been charged with murder and the accomplice that helped him hide the gun shoulda been treated as if he were there beside him when the shooting started. At least it sends a good message to landowners, you got tresspassers, just shoot em, its a misdemeanor
Poacher or not, it's murder plain and simple.
Either way hopefully David Martin learns not to poach anymore.
Ya know, I've always said that when it comes to game laws, the judicial system is serving merely as a midiate and nothing more than hand slapping is given out when laws are broken.
I strongly support tougher game laws but folks, this is taking that stance a bit too far.
An eye for an eye can't be the solution when it comes to poaching.............
