Default Hillary Clinton President in 2008

Here's why Hillary will be our next President.

The two names that come to mind and are polling the highest ratings are John McCain and Rudy Guliani.

John McCain was deep sixed when he undercut the President over his judicial nominations and has consistenly crossed the isle to vote with the Democrats on key issues to the Republican party. Plus, he teamed with Feingold to write that hideous blatent violation of the first ammendment. John doesn't do well in the straw polls either....he was so far down, he tried--on the low down--to tell what little supporters he had to vote for Bush as a show of support....so he wouldn't end up looking as poor as he did. On top of being ridiculed for telling them to vote for Bush.

That leaves Rudy Guliani of 9/11 fame. I like the guy personally and I think he is a GREAT leader. However think in terms of the giant pie chart of die hard republican base and those that might be swayed to vote republican. Now start carving off the single issue voters. You can take the NRA and gun lover's vote out because he favors gun control. You can take those opposed to gay marriage out as well because Rudy supports it. You can then take out the abortion crowd because Rudy supports that, including partial birth abortions. What's left isn't even enough to make it close. Plus he has mistress issues and other baggage that will turn off yet more morality voters.

For me, the best choice woud be Newt Gingrich. He is a brilliant man who loves and knows history very well. Has a great sense of how Washinton works and I think he is the highest name recognition of anyone. I think he is electable with the right VP. He has some baggage but nothing like Hillary Clintoris.

Short of a heart attack, a plane crash, a car crash, or if Satan decides he needs his epidermis back and comes to claim it.....you are looking at the future of our Country for possibly 16 years.

We will see who goes forward soon enough. Still think if Frist is serious, he might have a good shot at keeping Hitlery from getting back in the White House. I think he would be a better choice for republicans than McCain or Rudy. Think he is possibly a more likable candidate that more real people will be able to relate to.

Hillary will win, I am very sorry to say.

It will not be soon enough, I think that Newt is our only hope.

I just saved a buttload of money by switching my car insurance to Geico! That and I thought about staying at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Not a lot to be positive about today. If only I hadn't had those kids....I will probably keil over sooner rather than later the way I feel so it wouldn't matter. Funny how having those little mini-me's around changes one's perspective and outlook.

New, a lot can happen between no and 08. And the wife thinks I am too serious about politics .

Would not be so quick to make assumptions about what will happen in 08 just yet.

My wife just rolls her eyes at me but this is serious stuff here. A party in control that can't appreciate the fact that we are at war and undermines our efforts is a serious issue.

I guess you are right, the world could end. I guess the second coming could happen and in fact, you know I guess that God looking down on us just shakes his head that the murder and crime but when it comes to Clinton President he might just say "oh wait, hey now that's the last straw"

Hillary could become President in 08, but there are a couple of huge liabilities she's going to have to overcome.

First, her husband. Bill Clinton is going to have to learn to sit down and shut up, otherwise it will look to the American people like he's running again instead of Hillary.

Second, the newly elected Democratic Congress. They need some positive successes in the next two years and they need to avoid partisan witch hunts of the Bush Administration. I think it unlikely that they will be able to do either.

I think it will be a Clinton/Obama in 2008 and that will be hard to beat.

That would get the black vote, the women's vote, and leave precious little left.

Been thinking and saying the same thing. Unless they can show the voters that they were able to acomplish anything, or once again pull the wool over their eyes, Pelosi and the control may hurt the dems presidential hopes in 08 more than help them.

Well, I read last night that Governor Vilsack of Iowa is going to be the first to announce his candidacy...and that's about as far as I see that campaign going As far as Hillary, yeah, she's popular, but I honestly don't think America is ready for a woman president. This does not mean that I would never vote for a woman for president, but I most certainly would not vote for Hillary.

Barack Obama is a very good possibility, I would expect Kerry to be back in it, as well as John Edwards.

Everyone knows that John McCain is my first and only choice right now, don't be surprised to see Lieberman back in it. Newt Gingrich I think is a very good possibility, and I would probably vote for him. Bill Frist will run, but I don't see him winning. The only way Rudy Giuliani will win is if he can play off the 9/11 vote, but I think by '08 that platform will have run its course.

If the Republicans are going to run a serious candidate in '08.............they have to find someone who is "media-proof". Too many people believe the evening news without thinking.

We report, you decide.............let's just watch.

The GOP just got kicked in the gonads.............that's not a killing shot. But, it does make you think.

    God bless the Mexicans............
