Murtha was voted down by a sizeable lead. I am not sure whether to rejoice because Nancy Pelosi's first task of organizing her party leaders handed her an embarrassing loss or be disappointed at not having Murtha as a leader.
Murtha would have been great to have. He would have been a nightmare for the party with his tireless bumbling idiot statements and his inability to get anything done would help the US citizens.
Instead, we get Stanley Hoyeur (sic?) who actually has much support even from republicans and has been in the game for 25 years.
So close.....
