I wonder if we will ever see a bill like this introduced in Canada. I sure hope so, but it might happen after they take away our guns...LOL
As far as I'm concerned, I already have that right.

Interesting you find this in the paper you did Steve. My youngest sisters ex-husband used to work for the leaf chronicle, and my parents and sisters all live around Clarksville. My understanding is that some places such as Florida and Texas already have legislation that supports the homeowners rights to protect themselves. Would sure be nice to see it passed.

Georgia has had the castle doctrine for some time. So what happens?

Well, in the suburbs where people generally are armed, break ins happen during the day generally. Not at night when armed people might be home.

Georgia also just passed the stand your ground law that eliminates the run away feature of using deadly force. It also expands the rules under which you can use deadly force in public to include protecting your property and other people's lives. It also creates prosecution immunity for the shooter, if justified.
