    Default New Fred Thread

Anything can happen in a year people...Lets keep that in mind. Polls are only small amounts of people, and it only takes one stupid comment to change whose on top. I like to be just a little bit of an optimist when I am faced with the possibility of the poster girl for communism being elected to the new position in this country: dictator.

Part of any campaign is also spreading the word, not sitting on your butt waiting to hear something that you want to hear. If you like Fred, then great, spread the word and help the man out. In this case, it DOES take a village to get the president we want elected. I think it is a pretty safe bet that I know which side most of the people here will sway to. Pick your candidate, do something. Easy.

This takes discussion. Feelings will be hurt. Tempers will flare. This is the process, and has been since this country was born.

Now that I have stepped in the poop, lets see if I can track it in the house.

Stopping discussion because it is getting nasty is fine as long as you are blocking personal jabs, because the original topic is now lost amongst "you hurt my feewings, now I am going to hurt yours." Stopping this type of discussion is "manners and courtesy."

Stopping political discussion that may be heated, but remaining on topic without personal jabs is called "censorship"

    Just something to ponder..

Same here, and still think Fred has a good shot and I agree. Here is a link to a new commercial Fred has airing now http://www.fred08.com/index.aspx. Dont think he is by any means giving up.

Just for a bit of clarification, the topic you are referring remained closed as per the request of the original poster. That topic was initially locked up because it was headed in a direction that appeared to be getting personal. Discussion can and will continue here.
