You can find that same email on Urban Legends.com. Below in quotes is what they had to say...Although I despise Hilary Clinton, it would suck to know that the media and the WWW takes what I said and turns it around. I read her exact comments and they didn't even come close to what was said in that email.

The above words were indeed uttered publicly by U.S. Senator and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at various times and places, but they have been stripped out of their original context, edited, and misrepresented to forge a case for Clinton holding "Marxist" views.

I too don't like to parse phrases to get some particular desired result, and I think that's clearly what is happening here. But......that doesn't change the fact that HRC clearly believes in many of the principles of Marxism/Socialism. Universal government controlled healthcare being a prime example.

People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

Another example - she wants to cut energy consumption by 20 percent by 2020 and use renewable energy to generate 25 percent of the nation's electricity by 2025. That's all well and good until she lays out her strategy to pay for this project. She said her solution would cost $150 billion over 10 years and that one-third would be financed from the establishment of a $50 billion Strategic Energy Fund paid for by oil companies.

Let me translate that. $100 billion would be paid by us taxpayers, and $50 billion would be paid by consumers through the increased costs of fuel. Can anyone say $5.00 a gallon for gas?

ever notice how a politician ALWAYS says things are taken out of contex? so, why don't they ever explain what the "contex" should have been. point is, they said what they said, and now want a shadow to hide in....
