things are going to get real interesting this year, that's for sure. tourism is supposed to be near non-existent. we'll see.

If I were you, I'd start stock piling your favourite canned fish, before the prices go through the roof on fish too.

Yep, my butcher's friends are telling him that they are all planting no till beans this year because of fuel and fertilizer prices are too high to plant corn.

It costs us about $275 a day just for diesel fuel to go haul our lobster gear

, in the fall when we are farther offshore, it runs us around $375 per day

heck, i can't afford lobster now. if it goes up, ..... well heck. that means i still can't afford it. so, no real change.

You know, I hate to say this, but now more than ever people need to learn self reliance. Hunting and fishing for a hobby may be a thing of the past for most, it could become nescessity...Once again. Not that it really has anything to do with the topic at hand, but everyone is feeling the pinch, and all of it is tied together somehow.
