    Default Race to the middle?

Is it me or is both McCain and Obama running to the middle? Is it me or are both flip flopping more than olympic gymnasts? I mean, it seems that each are looking worse each day and don't get me wrong, there's no way in hades I'd ever vote for Obama but I'm seriously losing confidence in McCain. What do you all think?

Typical of how the last several presidential races have gone!

Whoever wins, has to win the middle undecided votes! It is just that simple! There are not enough right wing conservatives or left wing liberals to get elected, so all the candidates are going to lye through their teeth to win the middle and get elected. Once elected, they will forget all about who voted for them!

The ironic part is that they both have to move to the right in order to find the middle..............there's only one true conservative in the race and he's getting my vote.

alan is a true conservative, but to me has zero chance to win and will only serve to take votes away from mccain. although that in itself is not a bad idea...

mccain has always been a left wing liberal republican. he is moving a bit to the right, but he's still a maverick. and a jerk. obama is a better politician and knows he cannot win if he's perceived as a liberal so he's now a conservative.

i'm starting to think it may be better if the liberals win all the way around. and they just might. then, in 4 years we might get a conservative. but then again, it's the supreme court judges that are the real issue in this election. we "might" have a better chance with mccain. but i'm really not too sure. he goes out of his way to poke republicans in the eye...

If Alan had a chance to win I would vote for him, but I agree that realistically he is only drawing away votes from McCain, strengthening Obama's chances.

Does this country really need the most liberal senator this country has as the president, now or ever, really don't think so. Pretty clear what is at stake, 4 years of the far left may change the public perspective enough to sway a 2012 election towards conservatism, however 4 years is probably also enough to leave this country with irreparable damage.

    I have but ONE vote...................

If John McCain loses to O'Bama by ONE vote I will accept full responsibility for the demise of the GOP.

Having only ONE vote I intend to cast it for the candidate who I feel can lead this country where it needs to go. For the sake of myself and my children and my grandchildren I will be voting for Alan Keyes in November.

I had originally planned on voting for Mitt Romney, but, The Media and Republican Party decided that he was not their man and chose to run McCain instead.

In fact, I am a Conservative American BEFORE I am a Republican. The GOP's choice of candidate has left me no other choice but to not support them in November.

If O'Bama wins it will be THEIR FAULT, not mine. Unless it's by ONE vote.....................Then I'll take responsibility.

Actually, if Obama carries Colorado by one vote, and that turns out to be the decisive margain of victory, then we can chastise you.

And given the current political landscape in Colorado, that's not as far fetched a scenario as some may think.
