Default The John and Joe Show..................

It seems a though Sen. Lieberman and the Democratic Party are about to part ways, reports state that the Senator will officially be calling himself an Independent and severing all ties to the Dems. However, when his GOOD FRIEND John McCain asks him to be his running mate Sen. Lieberman will be calling himself a Republican.

Isn't it ironic, that TWO Liberal Democrats will be calling themselves Moderate Republicans in order to gain access to the White House.

Get ready to see alot of these.........................

Possible, but I think there's one flaw in your scenario. If Lieberman is serious, then he would be better served by switching to the Republican party instead of setting himself up as an Independent. I think even McCain is smart enough to realize that the person in the Number 2 spot on the Republican ticket has to have an R next to his/her name.

Got to agree with you on this. Palin would be a great fit. Definately not a DC insider, but seems to have the right stuff to do the job. I like that she's not afraid to step on toes, even big toes, to do the right thing.

There's no flaws in my scenario.

If the truth was told there actually should be a BIG LETTER D behind John McCain's name.
As long the Republican voters are willing to eat CRAP sandwiches.................what's a little more.

He'll call himself Republican when John McCain gives him the nod.

I still can't understand why people give McCain such a hard time and consider him a Democrat when he has a fairly conservative voting record. Is it because he is more moderate than anything else and willing to try to make agreements on both sides of the aisle? God forbid anyone try to do that. If everyone tried to work both sides of the aisle instead of being so staunchly partisan, maybe something would get done in Washington.

Just my opinion, but kind of have to agree with sluggo here. McCain is no doubt a bit more moderate, maybe that might make him more effective at working with both parties and actually getting some things done.

Seems lately hearing more talk of Romney possibly being his selection.
