    Default Palin's speech

OK, so I am not unbiased, but even the guy Fox had from Hillary's campaign to respond or critique could only say that the Dems. had cause to be afraid. He said she was flawless in her presentation and abilities in delivery, but that he disagreed with everything she said. Coming from a Hillary guy, I guess that means she was just perfect!

    GAME ON, Obama! Bring it!

Saw that too. Flipped around to some other channels to see responses as well, and seemed to be the concensus that she delivered the speech very well.

She did an outstanding job. Great speech. I'm really looking forward to the debates and to actually hear what each candidates plans and ideas are. I think it's time that McCain starts to lay out his plans to the people so that he can be more contrasted with Obama's plans (Or lack there of).

This is her bid for the Presidency and Sen. McCain is just along for the ride!

Thought Rudy Giuliani gave a very strong speech as well.

Really looking forward to the Palin and Biden debates coming up. Biden himself commented on Palin's speech on Fox news this morning saying she did very well, he is going to have his hands full, and he knows it.

    Absolutely awesome.

I was upset with FOX - they started off by talking and interviewing people during the opening ceremonies (benediction and presentation of the colors). Even CNN shut up and was respectful during this time. Then FOX continued talking during both Romney and Huckabee's speeches. I finally switched to CNN so I could hear what they had to say. Guiliani did a good job, too.

They said last Friday after her introductory speech in Dayton that she hit a home run. Last night not only did she slam it out of the park - she threw the gaunlet down. And, for her first time in that national venue.

The pundits all were saying she should only introduce herself and tell America who she was and why she should be VP. She did that - and well. They said she should not attack the other candidates at this point because of her lack of national experience. But, she threw down the gaunlet and showed them she was no ones b****.

Because of BHO's momentum for several months I kept saying: Be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

Now, not only are the dems afraid - Hillary just saw her chance at the Presidency go down the toilet. If Palin continues to perform at the national level as she has in Alaska, McCain will do one term, retire to Arizona, and put Palin in position to become the first women President.

I was thoroughly impressed with her speech. She spoke of a few issues which are important to me. Religion, guns, energy independence with new sources, anti corruption and defense of OUR great country. Her charisma is appealing to many.

Oh don't you worry, I think Biden will be able to compose himself and get back to normal in a few days after Palin is through with him; he'll survive...maybe!

I thought her speech was excellent and that McCain made a very good choice. After a couple days of the DNC convention though on MSNBC, I switched to watching on C-SPAN. I wanted to actually watch what was going on at the convention, not just the major speeches and whoever else that MSNBC or CNN decided to interview. C-SPAN was just plain convention coverage with noone talking over the speakers. I stuck with them through the whole RNC

The two anchors for msnbc who were covering the convention, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews were both booted after delivering msnbc the lowest ratings with their highly liberal opinionated bias. I have to admit though I watched msnbc some during the olympics to see coverage of the games.

I normally like the both of them, I enjoy watching "Countdown" even though Keith tends to rant too much. I like Chris Matthews because he is basically a bulldog when doing his job. The both of them really showed their backsides apparently during the conventions, with Keith making snide comments to Joe Scarborough off camera. Makes me wish Tim Russert were still alive.
