Not surprisingly, I came out agreeing with McCain.

ABC has a test at the below address to see who's campaign statements, McCain's or Obama's, you agree with most. They don't tell you who made the statements, of course, but a statement made by each candidate on the same topic (economy, immigration, judiciary, etc.) will be side by side. You just pick which statement you agree with and, after selecting all 13, you'll find out which candidate's philosophy you support. Try it at:

i got 100% in the mccain column. yet, i disagree with him over 50% of the time. again, i have to vote for the best of the worst...

I matched with McCain. The quiz isn't really that difficult to match up with the candidates if you know their politics and the typical platform of the respective parties.

I am leery of over-simplification of a complex position on a complex issue. Voting based on sound bites is a dicey deal. That beign said, guess who I aligned with?

Agreed, but the key to taking this little quiz succesfully is forgetting everything you know about which candidate stands for what. Do this quiz as unbiased as you can to reveal your true opinion.
