Did he let the truth slip out?

And people talk about how bad Bush spoke. Wonder if this will turn into a big deal like that
I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same. So help me God.
Just curious, did they use his mddle name at the swearing in?
I feel the oxygen level decreasing all of a sudden
I'm glad today is the day that many wrongs including global warming is now solved it is only 12 here and i'm looking forward to spring.

I really don't think it's a big deal, just nervousness. But it will be interesting to see if anyone in the press points it out like they did every time Bush misspoke. My guess is that by tomorrow we will never hear of it again.
Off the Porch and lovin' it...
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."
- Marcus Tullius Cicero - 55 BC
Heard on the news on the way home today, that is was actually Chief Justice Roberts that botched the oath. He left out the word "faithfully." Roberts stuck it at the end instead of where it belonged.
When I watched the oath, it looked like Obama forgot the words because Roberts went so fast, but now it doesn't look like that.
Huh.
Now, let's see if any of you believe that.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because you were there.
i agree. no big deal. i'm sure nervousness has played a factor. as for the news media, no they will not report it. they will not report any negatives on obama. i think that's good, at least for now. give obama a break in period, and a break in general. bush never got one, and i'm tired of all the negativity. in fact, i'm tired of the news media in general.![]()
Steve..just think, we wont have to watch the news for the next 4 years..everything is going to be GREAT! and if its not..well..gotta be Bush'es fault right?
Prov.1;7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
I watched it, and at first it looked like Obama messed it up, but then Chief Justice Roberts repeated the line and it was different from what he had said the first time. Even if it was Obama's fault, I completely understand why he would, seeing that it was probably the biggest day in the mans life and he was probably nervous as heck.
Oh and FWIW, he re-took the oath the following day.
