    Default HEEEEEEEERE\'S HOWIE!

So, Howard Dean is now officially the DNC Chairman.

I'm going to miss ripping on Terry McAuliffe, but certainly Howard Dean will give me plenty of opportunities.

Fear not, my liberal friends. Now instead of whining about how the GOP is whoopin' the Dems, you will be able to just say AAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

    Sorry--I couldn't resist!

I can't for the life of me figure out why they wanted Howard Dean at the head of the DNC? He doesn't have a proven track record of fund raising. He did make some waves by raising money over the Internet, but the really big bucks is corporate money and he didn't do nearly as well there. Seems to me like he's just walking around with a big bullseye painted on him. Just wait until he has another yeeeeeaaaawwww episode!

What makes you say that? Are you thinking it will be Hillary Clinton?

What makes me say that? Well look at the situation. Do you think Cheney is getting in? He would have a heart attack just from the excitement from the win. But seriously, Cheney wouldn't win. People are going to want a reign change in the White House. The only reason Kerry didn't win is because of what he stood for. If he would of been a little different on certain topics, I bet he would of won the eletion. BTW before you start saying anything, I voted for GW.
I don't think America is ready for a Women just yet. About the only thing I think Hillary will do is make a statement...but that would be the extent of it.

I think if the democrats are going to choose a man like Howard Dean, it's obvious the direction that they intend to head, and it's toward the center.

Did they learn nothing in the election. This will only devide the nation more sharply and pull anyone in the center to the right, costing them even more votes.

Not a very smart decision IMO

you're right, tsb. kerry could have won. most folks don't like bush. i don't like him much. he's just the best option. but, don't think coni isn't positioning herself. imagine, if you will, a turely brilliant person, a woman, and a black, all rolled into one beautiful ball. hillary would lose big time. this, by the way, is why the libs are cutting her down at every opportunity.

You know what...You might not know it but you just made a point. What if..OK..just imagine what if it came down to Hillary or Condi. I will let me personal views out of it but I think Condi would be better. I think she would blow hillary away. Don't ask why I think that because I have no idea but I just think she would win the election. Condi is about the best thing this administration has going for it right now. I love hearing her speak. I think Hillary has too many views on things like Kerry anway. I wonder what Bill would be called...the First Man Boy he could really have fun then...when the wifes away, the boys will play But at the same time, I think Hillary has the reigns in the Dems right now. HD wouldn't get close to the election.

I welcome Howard Dean as the new leader of my party. Here's why. Howard Dean has charisma, he's exciting, how many times did Terry McAuliffe make waves in the news, heck, I barely remember hearing anything about him. Unfortunately, Howard Dean got the short end of the stick after the Iowa caucuses, all because of the scream, which, even I thought it a little strange and I believe it did hurt his chances later on in the primaries. He got caught up in the moment, he was excited, I can understand that, it just didn't work out well for him.

As far as presidential candidates, I read that Mark Warner might be tossing his hat in for 2008, time will tell. Like TSBH, I don't really think that voters have really warmed up to a woman president yet. I will tell you this, if it were between Hillary and Condi, I would go with Hillary. If it were between Hillary and Powell or McCain, I would go with the latter two.
