    Default Dems and Gun Control

Here in washington state our new Dem Governor is trying to push through new gun laws. 1. We would have to register. 2. A pump action rifle with a removeable magazine is considered an assault rifle. (Along with a list of many others, including shotguns)So it must be kept on my property. It cannot be transported unless I can prove I'm going to a state approved shooting range. It cannot be transported with ammunition. It must be locked in a case for transport. What about hunting? Sorry, it's an assault rifle. 3. The local police can inspect my guns at any time once yearly to see if they are stored properly. No more wall hangers!

I don't think this will pass, but it's scary!

Thanks democrats! If I ever hear again that they don't want to take away my hunting guns I think I'll vomit.

My best friend is a raging dem. Thats always the first thing out of his mouth. "They don't want to take away your hunting rifles! Oh Yeah! What about my pump action .270?

If you vote dem and you love hunting and/or guns, you better consider this post. If you don't vote, your just not very smart!.

Before you push this aside and say washington is a blue state, think again. About 2 or 3 counties in the whole state went blue. Those counties are dictating how the rest of us live.

    1st no baiting for bears.
2nd no hounds for bears or lions.
    3rd no trapping.
4th NO FRIGGIN PUMP ACTION RIFLES AS THEY ARE ASSAULT WEAPONS.

    Think people!!!! AND VOTE!!!!!

This is what I am saying all the time is that the hunter/shooter is at the mercy of the urban nerds!

I live just across the river from WA in Idaho and there is a huge difference as to gun control and politicans.

We did have some outsiders trying to ban bait for bear hunting and they hired people from out of state to get it on the ballot. It was defeated.

As you can see by this even getting on the ballot, the liberals/democrats will try anything to stop and control guns and hunting!

They dont want gun control. They ultimately want gun removal!

Gun control is just the language they use to make it sound good to the unsuspecting American people.

quick question what is the political status of a certain gov. in california that banned some guns recently???

Another question for our politicaly astute friend from washington, what party does the Brady bill stem from???

Come move to Ohio where your politicaly correct friends in the republican party have voted three times against our guns in the last four years.

The point is that there people on both sides of the line who want to take our guns, just as there are people on both sides who hunt fish and enjoy the outdoors.

so there is a triple dose of

Good point CH. I personally don't want any politician that supports gun control, regardless of party, in a position of power. If they can't see the ignorance of gun control, then I have to wonder what other basic, common sense issues they may turn up on the wrong side of???

You make a good point there as well tex, I have found many young people are against it just because its what they hear, after having a sound conversation on it many change there opinions about it. propaganda does alot of harm.

Well kick them out then, complain as loudly as I am.

A Democratic Governor is trying to pass this law without my vote.

No, I can't speak to Ohio, or Cali. And yes I'd complain then too! But I'm talking Washington.

Seems to me a dem pres. passed an assault weapons ban that a rep. pres. would have struck down had congress tried to renew it. Seems to me the dems have completely lost the south and yes, it has a lot to do with gun control.

no matter the party, we don't want gun control. but it does seem to me that most gun controll laws are initiated by democrats.

    Doctors:

    (A) The number of physicians in the U.S> is 700,000

    (B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000

    (C) Accidental deaths per year per Physician is 0.171

Statistics courtesy of the U.S. Dept. of Heath Human Services.

    Now think about this:

    Guns:

    (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. Yes that is million.

    (B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups. Is 1,500.

    (C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.

    Statistics courtesy of F.B.I.

Statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.

FACT: NOT EVERYONE OWNS A GUN… BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS A DOCTOR

Sorry pal, I am not a republican. I am an independant, who most often votes republican. Seems republicans are more likely to look after my best interests, but I ultimately vote who I think is the best candidate for whatever the position.

I would suggest you do a little research on just who initiates the majority of the anti gun ownerhip sentiment in this country. I guarantee you it is not the republicans who are among the majority that push gun control issues. If you cannot see what has happened in other countries with gun control going to the extreme to gun removal you are blind and in denial. Saying it wont happen here and not acknowledging there are those lawmakers who do want ultimately to see that we have no rights left to bear arms does not help gun owners in keeping our rights in any way.

You really need to wake up.
