Default America needs a reset button

This country is done! We are on a plane that has just ran out of fuel and it's flying over the middle of the Atlantic. What is right is now is wrong, what is good is now bad, 2 + 2 = 3, debt is good, being gay is cool, drugs are hip and good for you, cheating is accepted, abortion is just safe sex, guns can aim and fire at people, people think government can fix their problems, being a christian means you are a racist radical, all white males are rich and evil, our president pushes his big liberal agenda on us when the majority of us say no thanks, illegal mexicans crossing our boarders deserve our free healthcare and jobs and when they have children here they then can then start getting wick, weathfare, foodstamps, cell phone, housing, education (that is awesome). Hit the reset button please.

Man..I bet you feel alot better now with that off your chest huh??...LOL... I have to agree with most of what you said..by the way..the reset button is broke...we smashed it with our sledge hammer at the last election cycle!

I do beleive we are not far from end times.

What did you expect? We have set around with our preverbal "thumbs up our butts" for years now and have allowed our education systems to teach that all these things are good. We've allowed the television to become our baby-sitters where all of these things are "good". We've allowed governments to dictate to the masses how we should be when it should be the masses dictating to governmnets! And then we stand back and wonder to ourselves, "what the **** went wrong?"

To quote a line in a movie I once I saw, this can pretty much sum things up.

"They call this war a cloud over the land. But they made the weather and then they stand in the rain and say '****, it's raining!'"

I forgot to mention the worst environmental disaster in the history of the world. The only reset button we have is the return of our lord to take us home.

Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools"

The first chapter of Romans is coming true right now. The Constitution was crafted by mostly christians and worked to turn our country from anarchy to the prosperity we enjoyed for years. We have chosen to ignore it lately and are headed back to anarchy. And by "we" I include ourselves because "we the people" have not chosen to correct it, yet. Which is good because it's good to think and pray before we act.

For all those that believe this "country is done", you are more than welcome to take up residence in the middle east, North Korea, or a third world country......give that a try for a few years and report back on how wonderful life is in those places...that is if you have access to a computer.

I thank the Lord every day for blessing me with the opportunity to live in the greatest country in the world. With Independence day just around the corner, there is no better time to reflect on what the United States of America means to each of us. For me, I have a great education, a great job, a nice home, wonderful family, access to the best health care in the world, amazing and affordable health insurance, freedom to own as many guns as I can afford, freedom to hunt and fish on millions and millions of acres of public land, and a military full of amazing men and woman willing to die to protect my freedoms!

This IS the greatest country in the world! For those who complain incessantly about how horrible it is in the US I have a couple options for you to consider - hop on a plane to somewhere else or put your energy, ideas, money into action and work to make changes. We can all make a difference in our own communities to make life even better.

I would like to wish a Happy 4th of July to everyone in Realtree Land and may God bless our troops!

Hey I agree this is the greatest place on earth and we should do everything we can to keep it. I also pray and give thanks for all I have and we have as a nation. Dude, if can't see the storm clouds moving in then O well. I'm just saying it's out of our hands.

Also gotta agree with most of what is said here, however I can see where this country is taking steps in the wrong direction and yes it does frustrate, sadden, and anger me to see this happening. Noticing problems and pointing them out and discussing them seems rational to me, there is a difference between that and irrational ranting.

Make a difference, there are a lot of people trying to make a difference who can see that this country needs to get back to the principles it was founded on and away from the liberal mess. Enough people do their small parts and real change will happen.

This is the pyramid that a man named Meslow created called the hierarchy of human need. I got looking at it and it makes an interesting point. The grisly truth is that the supporting base is crumbling while they try to firm up the top. Never works.
