    Default Gotta love it.

    Tried something a little different this time. I don't like injecting birds with marinade because I feel it's too strong and overpowers the bird.

    This time I rubbed the bird down with olive oil, injected a stick of melted butter with garlic powder. Gave it a bath in peanut oil for 3 minutes 45 seconds per pound at 350. Bird came out great! I couldn't taste the garlic butter myself, but wild_bill said he could. I'm the handsome one!

    Couldn't eat the dark meat. Just too tough. It's a shame, thats my favorite part.
