Beer Battered Deer
Slice deer steaks into strips about 1" wide and 3-6 inches long.
Mix one can of beer and one can flower with 1tsp salt or garlic salt and one tsp of black pepper.
Set aside about 1/4 cup of dry flour, salt and pepper mixture for later
Batter the meat and fry untill done.
Drain off most of the oil and add flour mixture. It should be almost dry when mixed together.
Add more salt and pepper to taste and heat. Add 1 1/2 mixtur of milk and water and stirr constantly to make a gravy.
