i take the dove breasts and marinate them in italian salad dressing and then light the fire on the grill and take each one and wrap it in aluminum foilwith some extra garlic neve rhave enough and then put them on the outside of the grill and let then slow cook in their own juices for about 20 to 30 minutes and make sure you turn them so they cook evenly and make sure they are on the outside of the ring of heat or you can slow grill them open. either way it is one great tasting piece of meat.also make some brown rice and and go to it

12- whole dove breasts
6- jalapenos
12- strips of bacon
1-cup zesty Italian dressing
12- tooth picks
1/4 Tsp. onion powder
1/4 Tsp. Garlic powder
Take the jalapinos cut in half and save the seeds and membrane. Take the seeds and membrane mix with the zesty Italian dressing onion and garlic powder and set aside. Wash dove breast and marinade them in the dressing for 3-4 hours.
Remove from marinade place 1/2 of the jalapino pod seed side to the breast bone side and wrap with a slice of bacon and secure with toothpick..You then are ready to fire up the grill and cook till the bacon starts to become crisp..Dont over cook..
Enjoy...![]()
I wrap them in bacon then grill them till the bacon is crisp. Turning them freq. so they don't catch fire from the bacon fat. I think I'll have to defrost some and cook some this week.![]()
