    Default jerky gun

    going to try to make some deer jerky with one of those guns, & i bought a can of ( eastman outdoors) seasoning mix. my quest. is what is the white powder for????? & how much of it do you use????...no directions in can????!!!!!.......thanks for the info....

    The white powder should be the cure. Does it say somewhere on the package that this kit will season XX pounds of meat? If so, just weight the cure on a scale and divide it to fit your amount.

    No directions??? I would take it back get your money back and get some Hi Mountain Jerky Seasons. You can make any size batches! From just one pound, to ten pounds!!! If you live near Cabela's or go to their web site and order it there! I love this stuff!!! Go here>>> Hi Mountain Jerky Cures
