Randy Oitker Update

Got an email from his Mom this morning. He will be out of the loop for a while:

Hey Scott,

I am sure you are busy but I wanted to let you know where Randy is now.

Randy arrived home from WY. on Tuesday night at 6:30pm. He came in took a shower and loaded his other luggage to head to canada. Our family had to drive him to Little Rock,AR. airport to fly with a cameraman from the Muzzy Bowhunting TV show. It was an 8 hour drive. He got to the airport at 3:30am. We did an 8 hour drive in 7and a half. He then had to take a flight to Houston and then on to Alberta canada, somewhere near Calgary.This was his first ever airplane ride. He said that the first plane was the Ford Focus of planes! then he got on a 787 and he said it was nice!

Could you tell all of his friends on the forums that he made it home safely from WY. , after dad got stopped for speeding in SD.( he got a warning)!! He will be in Canada until the 17th hunting elk and deer. He has no access to a computer and his cell phone doesn't have a signal. He has to call us from the cameraman's phone. We talked all the way to AR about
how much fun he had in WY with all of his friends from the forums.

Let everyone know that as soon as Randy makes it home he will be back on the forums on late Thursday the 18th. He arrives back in the states on the 17th late.

Unfortunately, the RT hat everyone is signing is on its way to him as we speak; actually, it should be there by now, so it looks like that hat is going to sit there for a bit.

hhhhmmmm... Happen to know what outfitter he was going to? When we were leaving our outfitter said that he had 2 guys coming in from Muzzy next, wonder if he's hunting the same place I was?

i was fortunate to spend most of a day with the randy's durring there wyoming hunt, what a great couple of guys, glad to hear they made it home safely.......wyo

Glad he made it ok and that his plane ride was a good one.

Lets hope he scores on some nice animals up there.

Thanks Scott I remember he said he was going to Canada next but I never got a chance to get any details.

Glad to here he made it safe.

Not too surprised about getting stopped for speeding. Randy's hunting vehicle can really scoot

I told him he should be putting a radar detector in that thing!

Glad that he made it safe and sound. Hoping he does well on that Alberta hunt. It was a pleasure hunting with him and his dad in Wyoming...

GLAD to hear Randy made it to Canada safe and sound . I'll pray the he scores on a trophy ...

Randy Sr. caught speedy with the Vett ... isn't that supose to hapen to the kids ...

It sure was nice to finally meet Randy and his dad, what a pair ..

Randy will be back next week unless my husband and him decide to go back to WY. for a couple of days! Tell the forum members that Randy is hunting with Lone Pine Outfitters in Sundrie, somewhere near Calgary. They are hunting public ground so I hope they do good. It was raining the last I heard from him. I can e-mail you an update if there is anything to tell. He had a lot of fun with everyone.

Hope he does well there. Looks like a good outfitter that Lone Pine. I just got an email with a real good price on a whitetail hunt in Noivember...Wish I could do it! Tell Randy I said hello...

Sure enough! I was just there hunting with Jason at lone Pine Outfitters last week, would have been cool to have a little overlap so I could have met Randy! We saw some good action up there, hopefully Randy will have a good experience too!
