    hey guys my son is a new hunter and wants to try bow hunting i'm pretty new to the sport my self and need some help in finding the right sight to use and how to set it up?
    also can you shoot them right out of the box?

    buddy we could talk for days on this one. Best bet is to go to your local bow shop and have him/her help you

    You ain't kidding, I've been at this for about 5 yrs now and I still have no clue ..... Well alittle but I still ask for alot of help, especially on the setups ...

    Welcome to the forums.

    You could possibly shoot a bow out of the box, some are supposed to be ready to shoot, but it will take adjustments to your sights for you. Setting up a bow is really not that tough, but I agree with you just getting into it that you would probably be best off to go to a shop and get some help there.

    I'm new to the sport of bow hunting as well though I've been deer hunting since I was 6 years old. With sports and all that good nonsense I lacked a lot of time in high school and just recently got into it big time. I went to a local bow shop around my hometown and got set up nicely. After constant practice I was ready to go, but w/o the local bow shop owner helping me out I don't know how well I'd have done if I just went and bought the stuff instead of asking for an opinion.
