Fight for a Life!

Hey Pro Staffer's,

My name is LeGrand Wilson and I'm a big time supporter/fan of Realtree and the great outdoors. I'm really excited about finding this site and hope to learn a lot, and contribute in a positive way when I can. And in keeping with that attitude I come to you with this:

A fellow co-worker, Chris Lang, was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of bladder cancer, and is in the fight of his life. The cancer is invasive, and has already been categorized as stage 4 cancer, and intensive cancer treatments are needed. Unfortunately, insurance will only cover a very small portion of his treatments, leaving him and his family with a huge financial burden. We're trying to do all we can to help him with his fight. Myself and another individual are organizing a golf tournament, on his behalf, and we're working vigourously to complete the preparations for it. In so doing we're looking for ways in which we can make this tournament as successful as possible, and we're thinking our game plan is looking good. What we're looking for are Corporate Sponsors, Hole Sponsors, and any donations that can be used for prizes or awards. All Corporate Sponsors will be respectfully represented with a banner that will be made and displayed at the club house, and all hole sponsors will be represented with signs that will be made and displayed on the tee box of every hole. The location of the tournament is what makes any donations unique in this situation. It will be held in Cochran, GA and the majority of the folks involved are avid outdoorsman, who will actually be giving up a portion of their hunting time to help this worthy cause. If any of you have anything that could possibly be donated, or if you may know of anyone willing to sponsor a hole or become a corporate sponsor, your generosity would be greatly appreciated. I do have informational details that I'll give out if there is any interest. Thank you.

Thanks. The welcome is greatly appreciated! I had no idea Realtree had anything like this, but I'm glad I have a chance to be a part of it.

...We're all still a bit in shock about what has happened to Chris. We're just wanting to do all we can to help. And I know that was probably awkward for a first post, but when it comes time to helping save a life I'll ask anybody and everybody who might be willing to help.
